On the occasion of the 65th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the WIPO Secretariat was pleased to host:
A Tripartite Sharing of the Beekeepers’ Branding Journey
Representatives of the Antigua & Barbuda Beekeepers Cooperative Society (ABBC), the officials of the Antigua & Barbuda Intellectual Property and Commerce Office (ABIPCO) and the Project team at WIPO shared their journey in establishing the first collective marks in Antigua & Barbuda and protecting those marks. The country stakeholders discussed their learning experience in transforming their intellectual property into valuable business assets and marketing tools, the skills-building resulting from the process, the challenges and the foreseen benefits for the local apiculture industry.
