New Year’s Day – If the first day of January falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday.

Christmas Day and Boxing Day – If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday.  If Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday and Tuesday shall be public holidays.

Note:

  • Sundays, Christmas Day and Good Friday are observed as Common Law Holidays.
  • Caribana is a form of carnival celebration in Barbuda that is held every year during the Whit holiday weekend.
