Celebrating World IP Day 2018

The Registry is now taking debit and credit cards. Please make sure to have a valid identification when using your debit and credit card to make payments at the Registry.

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda intellectual property Office held a conference at the Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua on the 11th December, 2017 to 15th December 2017, with the main focus on introducing the representatives to a new set of digital tools to manage their intellectual property portfolio. The 40 plus participants, from EUIPO and CARIFORUM, were exposed to tools such as TMview, TMclass, Designview and Designclass which are specifically for search and classification of trademarks and industrial designs. There are other intellectual property based tools to assist in areas such as quality standards, surveying, forecasting and even the law enforcement.

The Registry will be presenting in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture on Creating a Business for persons in the field of Agriculture from September 14th 2017, September 18th 2017 to September 21st, 2017. These talks will be held at the Gard Centre, Bethesda Playing Field, Extension Division, the JT Ambrose Primary School and the Bolans Primary School from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
